eh. sick as a dog. have the flu. trying to not feel sorry for myself but dammit i'm miserable. doesn't help that i've still not finished latest media essay and i have to hand it in today. my birthday is on monday, yay, i better not still be sick!!

just browsing around buzznet procrastinating. I gotta say, there's a lot of fuss about who so-and-so is dating (just had a justin timberlake moment) and it's really fucking sad. I mean who cares if PW is dating AS? I've read a lot of comments on journal entrys slamming AS for being a 'whore' and a 'slut'??? Seriously, that is pretty slanderous. I'm pretty sure they (the two 'celebrities' involved) don't give a fuck what anyone thinks but imagine if they just happened to be bored one day and read those comments. Personally, if someone said that about my bf I'd want to hunt them down (a la Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back) and inflict some pain. And no doubt, more often than not I'd be inflicting pain upon a 12 year old.

Thank god we didn't have the internet back when I was a young, hormone laden, squealing fangirl. Michael Hutchence and Adam Horovitz (the King Adrock) would have been in BIG trouble.

(i'm wondering if this negativity would cause a certain 'celebrity' to limit how much interaction he has with his fans. it would be a damn shame if it happened but if I was him, that's what I'd do..)

I was just innocently browsing through a site today when one of those annoying banner ads popped up and there, amid flashing pixels and engorged genitalia, was a girl that I swear I know. I was feeling too nauseus to click the banner and see where it could lead so I pulled the computer's power cord out of the socket and went and rocked in a corner for a while.

Now I'm just wondering what I'm going to say to this person when I bump into her (and her son) at the supermarket.
